  What will be the Reaction to Barbera Anderson`s New CD?

  we all know the shit is going to hit the fan,with the release of barbera anderson`s new cd:"secrets of pedophilia in an american religion:jehovah`s witness`s in crisis".....the wbt$ is going to take a beating,so are the jehovah`s witness`s.....there are two reactions to consider..and..they are the subject of this thread................what will be the reaction of the wbt$?..and..what will be the reaction of jehovah`s witness`s?...outlaw

  i can't remember the timing of this...a year and a half ago i guess? It was after the Conti verdict. Our CO said from the stage we needed more money because of the attack on our organization of law suits like "that girl from California."

  I was shocked he even pointed to the case. He didn't mention her name but his tone was bitter. He said many awful things that night. Jaw dropping.

  i have heard the parallel that Jehovah is using the law to weed out the Org. After all Jahs people in Bible times were allowed to be enslaved by before....

  New marketing ideas for JW.ORG merchandise!?!?

  or as some tacky gifts as handed out at the international conventions?.

  Praise For Witnesses On Welfare Who Full Time Pioneer!

  the watchtower has always praised witnesses who are on welfare and decided to pioneer.

  many in my congregation, including my mom, were given kudos, praise and assembly parts because they took advantage of jehovah's provision through the government....did you notice this, or was it obvious to me because i was raised in the inner city and many people recieved government help?.

  Our PO for years back was a Pioneer and on Disability....many asked how he could manage those functions and still qualify to not be fit for a real job.

  give me a break. Oh and and he was an arsehole too. Made everyone miserable .

  Announcement to print from JW.ORG in service meeting

  yes, you read that correctly.

  last night during the service meeting, the cobe gave an announcement that we should start printing or using jw.org for any special literature such as the daily text, the yearly calendar, etc... he also mentioned to please cancel any orders of the wt and awake on cds because no one is picking them up and they are piling up.. .

  my question is, where did this elder get this info from?

  Then all who are JWs will have to wear JW.org sweat bands with the logo. This will happen so I can make fun of them having the mark of the beast.

  Seriously though will they merchandise their logos....bags, hats, t shirts, book covers, pens, stationary, ect ect ect.

  if they merchandise ......is it donation only? Or better yet will they have that PayPal account that sees how much you donate and rewards you with a product to flaunt to your service group. The more you donate the better the jw product they give you.

  Then everyone will scramble to get theirs and out do each other. The blue JW.org Car......

  Next step......the governing body buys a tv network or starts pod broadcasting. most of the halls Are sold....and the virtual religion begins! Yay my couch religion is getting more real by the second!

  Roll call of those of us stuck in for our spouse or whos spouse is still in!

  i just wanted to get a feel for how many here have awakened to ttatt but are still carrying on some jw activities to pacify them and keep the peace.

  also trying to hear from those who have left, but whose spouse has stayed in the wt and in the marriage.. for me it comes down to my own mental anguish.

  i am mentally tortured by attending the meetings, yet i feel compelled to because my wife would kill me with her personality if i had her drag 2 small girls by herself there.

  I totally agree. I am just kicking around this weird situation. staying "in" hurts me but so would other alternatives. in no way am I giving advice just talking aloud.

  sometimes feeling like there are choices.....even terrible choices makes me feel better than having none.

  a minny man in a local congregation has a beard...he was bullied by the elders to remove it.. then the co came along and told the elders to allow him to keep his beard.

  (not as the result of any skin condition or anything).. i kid you not!!!.

  what do you make of that?.

  All that would have to happen for beards to be allowed is for one of the glorious governing body members to sport one next annual meeting.

  maybe that is the next new light..... Send all savings on razors to Bethel.

  the slogan can be "The New World is Razor Close"

  yes, the jws continue to bleed their young ones, so far in my local kh 3 were dfd, one girl just turned 18 this month and packed her bags and said goodbye to the cult and her cultish parents, another young 18 year old man decided to have a non-jw girlfriend and decided to stop attending and is no longer a witness.

  they continue to leave and wt leaders dont give a damn.

  they dont do anything to help kids be successful and live a healthy life.. .

  I am in the stinky boat too. I do agree on the other side of the world they will physically kill you. On this side they will emotionally kill you.

  just a thought I was kicking around ......if you DA what are the Pros? Would your kids loose witness friends would your wife loose friends too? Would that lack of association make room for the big bad world of friends and hobbies? Could nice neighbor friends help?

  maybe cutting the crazy out of your life is to DA. Again I am not sure just making a pros and cons list for myself.

  would DA yourself show spouses just how cruel this religion is to families? Or would it throw them into feeling attacked by Satan and band together against you.

  it is a toss up....

  and yes it boils me that we go door to door begging people to investigate their own religion.....but we are uninvited to do so with our own.

  what a snare and racket.
